Sunrise Over Alaskan Glaciers From Airplane Window
I usually don't ask for window seats when I'm traveling by airplane, just because I don't like to bother the passengers next to me except when they are friends, so in that case I don't mind. LOL!
In my last flight from Tokyo to Toronto, I was in a deep sleep (very unusual) when my friend woke me up exactly when the airplane was flying over the Alaskan glaciers just at sunrise, I didn't waste any time and I grabbed my camera from the overhead compartment.
After reviewing the photos at home I noticed all the photos were pretty much in blue tones, first I thought I had the wrong camera settings, then I realized the whole landscape got the blue from the sky.

Hubbard Glacier
The Hubbard Glacier is truly impressive. The glacier is 6 mile wide, 400ft tall and it has a beautiful blue color. The ship doesn't get too close because there are a lot of icebergs floating around. In the summer months with higher temperatures you will see more calving off the ice. The sound of the ice cracking is a sound you will never forget.

Baby Squirrel
I found this baby squirrel while I was walking the Icy Strait Point in Alaska. Poor little one, I think it has a tick in the ear.

The White Pass River
If you ever visit Skagway, I recommend this tour by train to the White Pass, you won't regret it, just sit inside the train and enjoy the views or step outside for fresh air in between the trains.
