• Dynjandi Waterfall - A Magnificent Waterfall In The Westfjords

Our cruise ship went to Isafjordur, a little fishing town with no much to see other than visiting the nearby waterfalls. We rented a car and we drove one and a half hour to the Dynjandi waterfall, and driving along the edge of the fjords and then up over the mountains is itself a unique experience.

Dynjandi waterfall is the largest waterfall in the Westfjords, and it is somehow unique because is not only one but a collection of seven small falls, with the largest one and most spectacular at the top. We arrived to the parking and there were just few cars already there, so I took the time enjoying the path to the top and once there I saw the most amazing views of the Westfjords.
