Zabriskie Point

Zabriskie Point is a part of the Amargosa Range located in Death Valley National Park in California, noted for its erosional landscape. It is composed of sediments from Furnace Creek Lake, which dried up 5 million years ago - long before Death Valley came into existence.

While my friends were enjoying the crowded places in Las Vegas, I decided to take it a little more adventure driving through Death Valley National Park in the neighbor state - California. I came across this viewpoint while I was driving to see the Mesquite Flat Sand Dunes.
