Avenue Of Oaks At Wormsloe Historic Site

This breathtaking avenue sheltered by live oaks and Spanish moss leads to the Wormsloe Plantation where are the ruins of a Colonial estate. This place is near Savannah, Georgia, fortunately I was visiting some friends in Jacksonville, Florida and I didn't hesitate to drive two hours to visit this historic site.

As soon as you pass the large arch at the property entrance you will be enchanted driving 1.5 mile (2.4 km) under these live oaks covered in Spanish moss gently swaying in the breeze. Definitely something worth to see!
